  Many people received drones as Christmas gifts this year. But few have turned that gift into a business like Micah Morrell. Micah received his first drone several years ago. After practicing for several months, he was invited to produce a travel film in Alaska. Another year went by, and he found himself graduating from college without a job. So he picked up the drone again and along with some friends convinced Subaru to loan him a car so he could make some videos. The result was a film that Subaru used as a television commercial. “That’s where things got interesting,” says Micah. He filmed a monster truck show on the west coast, made a commercial for the largest Subaru dealer in the nation, and founded Drone Scope Media. Just recently he has filmed in Iceland, Mexico, and at the Las Vegas Grand Prix.
