CREATIVE HOME-SCHOOLING

When I became the pastor/administrator of a Christian school in Montana, two of the students were writing a book, alternating one chapter at a time. To the best of my knowledge, that book was never published. However, one of the young ladies has gone on to write five history books which have been published by The Well-Trained Mind Press and Simply Charlotte Mason.

Lorene Gibbons Lambert writes mainly for home-school families. Her books are narrative history, history made to come alive as a story and as a panorama. Five books are in print, and she is working on a three-book contract, with the first volume coming out this fall.

Here are the titles of the books.

Who in the World is the Forgotten Explorer: The story of Amerigo Vespucci

Ancient Egypt and Her Neighbors

A Castle with Many Rooms: The Story of the Middle Ages

Stories of the Nations: Volume One

Stories of the Nations: Volume Two

Lorene has finished home-schooling her own children but continues to provide creative history books for others. I am proud to claim her as one of the graduates of our school.
