CREATIVE CONCERN

 

“Pray for Ukraine” has not been just a recent plea in our family. For twenty-four years, my brother-in-law Neil Cadwell traveled to Ukraine to maintain the work of the Slavic Bible Institute, a school he started. He took pastors and teachers with him who offered classes which prepared Ukrainians to serve God in their own country. Many of these pastors and Christian workers are now on the front-lines of providing spiritual and physical aid to the war-torn country.

The Slavic Bible Institute still continues to offer training even during the war. Recent classes were taught under the leadership of Derek Thomas, who my wife and I had the privilege of working with when he was in Lithuania.

Neil wrote a book before his death called “From the Corn Field to the Mission Field.” It tells the story not only of Ukraine but also the account of how God used him in the field of evangelism in eighty different countries. Continue to pray for Ukraine. God has worked in many lives in that country over the years and continues to do so even in the face of aggression.
