BOOKS! BOOKS! BOOKS!

In these days of Kindle and Ebooks, what does a person do with a personal theological library in retirement? I have asked myself that question.

James Lutzweiler has proposed a creative solution. He is looking for a benefactor who would like to purchase and donate an entire collection to a seminary, college or Bible institute. He has amassed a collection of 15,000 books and would love to see it kept intact. Another possibility would be a church member who wants to bless the pastor or church library with a special gift.

Lutzweiler has spent nearly sixty years putting the collection together. “I would hate to see them scattered to the four winds from which I have selectively gathered them,” he writes. Titles cover theology, biography, history, literature, poetry, China, Russia, Judaism, Zionism, Gospel music, the American Civil War, railroads, art, and some first editions.
