CREATIVE COPING

Facing multiple system atrophy has been the greatest challenge ever experienced by Daisy Paige. It has definitely been an Unexpected Moment. Her choice to cope with her struggle by encouraging others is an inspiration to all those facing difficult medical issues.

Daisy’s impetus for writing Unexpected Moments came from an unexpected meeting with Kirk Cameron. She shared her story with him, they prayed together, and Kirk told her she needed to share this story with others. When the manuscript was completed he wrote a personal foreword for the book.

Unexpected Moments is available on Amazon.com and also at Daisy’s website Unexpected-moments.com.

“If there is one thing I have learned from MSA,” writes Daisy, “it is not to take life for granted. Especially the little things like brushing your hair and teeth, bathing or walking. It can change fast. Now I can’t walk at all unassisted. If it weren’t for God, I would not have made it.”

Ten percent of the proceeds from this book goes to a charity researching a cure for MSA. At the present time, life expectancy is five to seven years from the onset of symptoms.
